Professional Work
DAHLIN, 2017 - Present
Information on a selection of professional projects I have been involved with since I joined Dahlin in 2017.

The Hub
fostering community connection through art
Through a main campus in San Francisco, The Hub creates innovative spaces to create and display art. Through public spaces, it also provides a place to connect art to the community.

INhouse (Solar Decathlon 2015)
detailing performance-based design
INhouse is Cal Poly's entry for the Solar Decathlon 2015 and demonstrates how to live well while still living within our ecological means.

Pier 70 Design Guidelines
revitalizing a community through history and innovation
The Design Guidelines for Pier 70 respect site specific considerations to provide massing guidelines that address neighboring buildings, solar access, and public open space.

Pier 70 Building Design
revitalizing a community through history and innovation
Pier 70 includes a number of features to improve resident comfort like skylights to offer stack and cross ventilation in a double loaded corridor and a facade that pushes and pulls along Illinois Street giving almost every unit a corner window to maximize views.

a[FAB]
researching phase-change materials
Using computational design and a simple fabrication technique, we created a curtain that holds phase change material to provide thermal mass while show-casing the phase change process.

LINK
promoting social justice
We explored the challanges of housing four unrelated farm workers in a net-zero energy home. Because of the client needs, we maximized outdoor space so people can gather seperately with family and friends or come together in the common areas.

Watercolor Painting
creative expressions
Since I can remember, I have been drawing and enjoyed creating things. In 2013, I started watercolor painting and have never stopped. My travel set joins me on my adventures and spare moments on the weekend get filled with painting.
